“Like I remind them that they’re a human, like all of us, they’re gonna have failures, they’re gonna have accomplishments, they’re gonna have good days, they’re gonna have bad days. A lot of people expect the world out of them. I don’t, I want them to be them. And that’s why they’re here. I tell all my athletes, there’s a reason why you’re here. know what I mean? Sit with that a little bit when you’re anxious on practice or anything like that or something that’s coming up, just remember, you’re here for a reason. You know what I mean? I also like to sprinkle in a bit of a gratefulness. You’re here for a reason and don’t forget, there’s other people that want that opportunity as you. So, how do we make the best of it?”
