How long does it take for Samson Equipment to ship?
At Samson Equipment, we specialize in manufacturing high quality weight room equipment for high schools, colleges, recreational training facilities and tactical training facilities. We do not have a retail location to view our equipment, please see our Facilities page along with photos and videos. Each Samson Equipment piece is custom built to order at our U.S. facility, ensuring durability, precision, and tailored solutions typically for high use football teams, basketball, soccer, collegiate rec centers, and tactical facilities.
Lead times: Orders typically take 10 weeks to manufacture, depending on design complexity. Delivery times remain fluid due to the many parts involved in our process. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery schedule due to potential material delays from our suppliers or weather conditions that may impact our freight shipments. We use both Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping. FTL means a dedicated truck transports only our equipment, while LTL shipments combine multiple customers’ freight in a single truck, which may lead to additional transit time.
Freight and Shipment Details: Your equipment is shipped on large commercial trailers that are 53 feet long, designed to accommodate heavy and oversized loads. To ensure a smooth installation process, most equipment is partially assembled before shipping, reducing on-site setup time. When your order arrives, it will be ready for final assembly and installation at your facility.

Can I Purchase Samson Equipment for Personal Use?
Samson primarily serves high schools, colleges, and professional training facilities. We do accept direct consumer orders, but there are important considerations.
- Our equipment is built to order, not stocked. Unlike mass-market brands, we don’t carry inventory. Every piece is custom-made, which means lead times for a single product can be up to 30 weeks. We also do not offer discounts for individual purchases.
- Our equipment is designed for institutions and professional athletes who demand exceptional durability and performance. Most of our small orders come from current or former professional athletes familiar with our quality and process. We do not negotiate on pricing or delivery timelines.
- Residential delivery has specific requirements. We use a liftgate delivery service for residential shipments. Large items, such as our Flex Rack, may not fit through standard doorways or hallways. Most residential deliveries are best suited for garages. Equipment can weigh over a ton, so you will need rollable dollies or additional assistance to move it from the street to your designated space.

What are my purchasing options?
Schools can purchase with Purchase Orders w/ additional discounts for deposits. Private sales are 50% deposit, remaining 50% due upon ready of shipment. All major CC’s are accepted, checks, wire transfers. Contact us here if you have questions.
