The idea for this business began in 1976 when Dave and Linda Schroeder realized the demand that several coaches and administrators still struggle with today–the need for more durable weight rooms for schools and universities who also face the challenge of restricted budgets.
Having both been former coaches themselves, Dave and Linda knew firsthand how important designing affordable, yet quality made facilities could mean to these educators that wished they could consistently provide first class weight rooms to their athletes, thus, Samson Equipment was born.
